The flat price keeps one company formed and compliant in one state: formation prepared and filed, your registered agent all year, and your annual report prepared and filed. Anything outside that core job is separate, and we'll say so plainly. That means things like a DBA or assumed-name filing, foreign qualification (registering your company in another state), amendments to your formation, certified copies, expedited state processing, or a dissolution when you close the company. If you ever need one, we quote it flat and up front with the state's fee at cost, and nothing is ever added to your bill automatically. No nickel-and-diming on the core job, and no pretending the extras don't exist.

Because that money isn't ours. Every state charges its own fee to file formation documents, and most charge one for the annual report too, and all of it goes straight to the state. We pass those fees through at cost and show the exact amount on your state's receipt card before you pay, so there's nothing to guess at and nothing added later. It's the one number in all of this that we don't set.

You're billed the same $199 you paid the first year. No rate that jumps at renewal, no new line items. On cancelling, here's the one honest catch: once we've submitted your formation or your annual report for the year, that filing is already done and gone to the state, so it can't be refunded for that year. Past that, you're never locked in. If you don't want us as your agent or filing your report the next year, just tell us and we won't renew or bill you again. That's up to the state, not us. Some approve filings in a couple of business days, some take a few weeks, and a handful offer expedited processing for an extra state fee. We submit your filing promptly once you order, and the state sets the clock from there. Your state's page lists its typical turnaround.

No. The EIN is a number the IRS issues for free, and we walk you through getting one as part of formation. The operating agreement is guided, not sold on the side. Neither one ever shows up as a separate charge.

No, and it's an easy mix-up. A virtual address is a commercial mailing address for your general business mail. A registered agent address does one job: it receives state and legal correspondence, and we scan and upload anything served on your company the same business day. It isn't a mail substitute, so you can't use it for your Google Business Profile, Amazon seller verification, bank statements, invoices, or a storefront. Service of process is always scanned and uploaded the same business day, free. The first three government mailings each year are scanned free too; after that, a per-piece scan or shipping fee applies. We don't do free physical forwarding on any tier. Everything we receive for you is scanned, not mailed onward.
